CREATING A ROBUST IMMUNE SYSTEM

Surprisingly, the gut is the key to our immune system, in fact almost 70% of our immune system is housed in the gut. Within your gut, the resident bacteria (including other microscopic organisms), is known as the gut microbiome. It directly interacts with your immune cells and affects your overall immune response against infection.

A functioning healthy gut microbiome is rich in diverse beneficial bacteria, enabling a robust immune response to fight infection. However, a compromised microbiome can hinder your immune system leading to infection.
